TBG 3490 Maintenance Service Worker I

Under supervision, this position performs a variety of maintenance and repair duties on various types of equipment, buildings and grounds under the direction of the Facility Services Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with acceptable standards, regulations, safety, policies and procedures. The work is defined as semi-skilled, routine, manual, becoming somewhat independent. Once routines are learned the work may become more independent and generally subject to less frequent review by the Manager or Supervisor.
TBG 3562 Laundry Driver

Under the direction of the manager, the Laundry Driver is responsible for transporting clean and soiled linens to and from internal and external sites in accordance with infection prevention and control protocols. Responsibilities include loading and unloading linen carts, sorting soiled linens, conducting weekly vehicle inspections, and cleaning the truck box on a regular schedule. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of linens within the healthcare setting.

Reporting to the Manager, the GPNA provides assistance to the professional nurse (RN/RPN) in the provision of nursing services in a Continuing Care environment. The GPNA accountable for the activities and tasks assigned to them, providing care within the boundaries of their knowledge and competency. The GPNA is responsible for knowing and declining when care that needs to be provided exceeds their level of competence. Employees in this classification who have the appropriate training, orientation and/or experience may, from time to time, be reassigned (float) to other work areas to meet operational staffing requirements
