Bethany Group

Welcome

Since its beginnings in 1922, The Bethany Group has responded to the needs of the community. Over the past 90 years, the organization has seen many changes, expanding its scope of services to over 20 communities in central Alberta. From continuing care, supportive living, and independent living for seniors to a variety of housing programs including affordable family housing, the organization remains committed to giving its residents and clients an enhanced quality of life while maintaining its faith-based roots.

Affordable & Community Housing

Affordable and Community Housing – Providing 115 spaces of subsidized rental housing to low income families, seniors, and individuals, The Bethany Group manages Affordable Housing in Blackfalds, Camrose, and Lacombe. Under Community Housing, The Bethany Group manages 124 spaces in Bentley, Camrose, Lacombe, Millet, Ponoka, Rimbey, and Wetaskiwin.

Continuing Care

Continuing Care – Care is provided for people with complex health needs who are unable to remain at home or in supportive living and require unscheduled 24-hour RN care. The Bethany Group operates 130 spaces in the Louise Jensen Care Centre and Bethany Meadows in Camrose.

Crossroads

Crossroads Day Program - Offered in Camrose and Wetaskiwin, the Crossroads Day Program is intended to assist people and their caregivers who live in their own accommodation but suffer from chronic illness or disability, social isolation or memory impairment.

Designated Supportive Living

Designated Supportive Living – Providing the security of 24-hour care and support depending on the level of care, The Bethany Group manages 35 spaces in DSL 4D, 50 spaces in DSL 4, and 81 spaces in DSL 3. In Camrose, these spaces include Bashaw Meadows, Bethany Meadows (Pine & Spruce Cottages), Eckville Manor House, Memory Lane, Faith House, Viewpoint, and Wetaskiwin Meadows.

Life Lease & Residential Living

Independent Living – Managing 270 spaces of life-lease and residential living, these buildings are designed to offer a supportive environment for independent seniors. The Bethany Group operates Life-Lease Buildings in Camrose: Hillside Village, Lakeside Village, and Brookside; as well as Legacy Place, in Ponoka (on behalf of the Rimoka Housing Foundation). Residential Living is offered at Deer Meadows in Camrose.

Lodge Living

Lodge Living – Providing affordable room and board for seniors with the assistance of community-based services, The Bethany Group manages 612 spaces, including: Bashaw Meadows (Bashaw), Big Knife Lodge (Forestburg), Flagstaff Lodge (Sedgewick), Golden Leisure Lodge (Ponoka), Manor House (Eckville), Lacombe Senior Citizen's Lodge (Lacombe), Parkland Manor (Rimbey), Peace Hills Lodge (Wetaskiwin), Rosealta Lodge (Camrose), Stoney Creek Lodge (Camrose), and West Pine Lodge (Winfield).

Seniors Self Contained Housing

Seniors Self-Contained Apartments – Offering housing for living independently for low to moderate income seniors, The Bethany Group is the management body for 711 spaces of subsidized apartment living in Alliance, Alix, Bashaw, Bawlf, Blackfalds, Camrose, Daysland, Eckville, Ferintosh, Forestburg, Galahad, Hardisty, Heisler, Killam, Lacombe, Lougheed, Millet, Mirror, New Norway, Ponoka, Rimbey, Strome, and Wetaskiwin.

Rosehaven Provincial Program

Rosehaven Provincial Program – The Bethany Group manages 75 spaces of specialized outreach and inpatient services to support people who have behaviours that are difficult to manage in their current settings. Based in Camrose, a highly trained interdisciplinary team delivers support throughout three services: Clinical Outreach, Education Outreach, and an In-House Program.
